The Rescue Diver course is one of the most rewarding and intense scuba certifications. At Squalo Adventures, we offer both PADI and SSI Rescue Diver programs, taught by experienced instructors in real ocean conditions around Isla Mujeres.

You’ll learn to anticipate, prevent, and respond to diving emergencies, all while improving your confidence underwater.


Course Overview:

  • Duration: 2–3 days

  • Practical, scenario-based training

  • Includes rescue techniques, self-rescue, and emergency management

  • Taught in English or Spanish

  • Certification valid worldwide (PADI or SSI)


What You’ll Learn:

  • Self-rescue skills

  • Recognizing and managing diver stress

  • Responding to panicked and unresponsive divers

  • Water exits with tired or injured divers

  • Search and recovery techniques

  • Full rescue scenarios on surface and underwater

  • $10, 000 MXN per person

Requirements:

  • Advanced Open Water certification (PADI, SSI, or equivalent)

  • Current CPR & First Aid certification (EFR or React Right within last 24 months)

  • Minimum age: 12 years

  • Good physical condition and basic swim skills
