We did one morning of snorkeling
Very intimate, small boat.
We were the only couple after another one cancel
The team is super smily and very nice
They bring fruits and water
We have been to two snorkeling spots including MUSA

I had the best time diving with Squalo Adventures Dive Center in Isla Mujeres.

I started my PADI training back home in Canada with the eLearning and pool dives but decided to finish up in the warmer waters of Mexico.

Andrés from Squalo Adventures was super helpful right from the start, answering all my emails and questions quickly, which made me feel like I was making the right choice.

My instructor, Roberto, was awesome. He was patient, explained everything we were going to do, answered all my questions before each dive, and really helped me feel comfortable and confident underwater.

In just two days (4 dives), I finished my Open Water Diver certification and immediately jumped into the Advanced Open Water Diver course with a friend and dive buddy.

The underwater museum and the reef here are amazing, full of colorful fish; angelfish, jackfish, pufferfish, huge grouper, nurse sharks, sting rays, barracuda, and so much more.

However, the night diving was the absolute best! At night the ocean comes alive with fish and creatures you rarely see during the day. We saw sea turtles, spiny lobsters, eels, and sea urchins everywhere, and the bioluminescent plankton glowing overhead like stars against a dark sky was an out-of-this-world experience. You have to do this if you get the chance!

Now, I'm heading home with my Advanced Open Water Diver certificate and nine incredible dives under my belt. I can't wait to come back, especially for more night diving.

A big thank you to Andrés, Roberto, Jesus, Armando, Manuel, Jonathan, and the rest of the Squalo team for making this experience unforgettable.

If you're in Isla Mujeres and looking to dive, Squalo Adventures is the place to go. You won't regret it!

TL;DNR: Went to Squalo Adventures in Isla Mujeres to complete my dive certifications and had the best experience. From the underwater museum to night diving with bioluminescent plankton, it was all unforgettable. We went out as a small group of 4 and our instructor Roberto gave good instructions and everything felt very safe (I was a bit nervous).
The MUSA was amazing! And at the reef we saw many colorful fish and a sting ray.

Amazing experience, booking was simple and easy for the same day, the instructor Jesus was exceptional, giving us ample time to ask questions and make sure we were completely competent before we went out into open waters to complete the dive.
