Isla Mujeres ,Mexico offers a great variety of fish and corals. Our coral reef are only 15 minutes boat ride from the Island, In Isla Mujeres we have an area protected by SEMARNAT where you can find a large school of fish , turtles , lobsters , grouper, mantarays , shark ,lion fish , snapper etc…
In addition to the protected area that is located in the south , we have Shipwrecks for more advanced divers or experience divers where you can see eagle rays, barracudas and big fish.
To the north of the island we have other sites such as the Sleeping shark cave , Piedra atravezada , Pailas , Chyrel shipwreck and Ultrafrezze shipwreck, where these sites can see other types of marine life such as dolphins , sharks , loggerhead turtles, mackerel, giant grouper , caves , bridges and much more….

The Art of Conservation
In 2009 a monumental underwater contemporary museum of art called MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte) was formed in the waters surrounding Cancun, Isla Mujeres and Punta Nizuc.The Museum aims to demonstrate the interaction between art and environmental science and form part of a complex reef structure for marine life to colonize and inhabit whilst increasing biomass on a grand scale. All of the sculptures are fixed to the seabed and made from specialized materials used to promote coral life. The total installations occupy an area of over 420sq meters of a barren substrate and weighing in at over 200 tons.

Tour Description
Just 30 minutes off the coast of Cancun near Isla Mujeres lies a popular diving destination called Cave of the Sleeping Sharks, which has baffled marine biologists everywhere. Sharks must constantly be in motion in order to breathe through their skins, but in this cave the sharks can use bubbles from underwater springs to breathe, allowing them to “sleep” completely still.
